As
the Alpha of her female pack, Caidi has led them from hard
times to prosperity, all without the help of a male but now
Caidi wants a baby and for that she definitely needs a male.
Getting pregnant will not be easy but with careful planning
she intends to achieve her goal. But then everything falls
apart. Raven is the Alpha of the Shadatai Zarain pack and
when Caidi chooses him to impregnate her she is unaware that
not only is he an Alpha but also her mate. When Raven learns
that she is his mate he will do whatever it takes to make
sure she knows it, even if he has to storm her barricades.
Will they be able to live in harmony together?
Where
women control their pack and men are nonexistent, Primal Quest
will introduce you to men who want to protect their women,
even if it means doing everything in their power to make them
listen. Caidi is a woman used to doing things her way and
when she discovers Raven, she is unsure of what to do but
there is one thing she is certain of, he is her mate and more
Alpha than her. Whereas Raven knows that Caidi is his and
although he has trouble making her understand that fact, he
is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her, even if
it drives him insane. These two characters were absolutely
perfect for one another, they were both strong and knew what
to do to survive. My favorite part would have to be when Caidi
and Raven first met, that part just cemented the whole story
for me, it made me delve more into it as I read on. If you
are a fan of the shapeshifter and futuristic genre then Primal
Quest is a book that cannot be passed by, you need this one
in your collection.

Caidi
Satoan just wants to find away to keep her tribe from extinction.
She never figures on finding her mate at the same time.
Caidi
decides it’s time to replenish the tribe, so she and
some friends decide to go to another planet to find acceptable
males to impregnate them. Figuring they are safe, they have
no idea that the men they have chosen are actually their mates.
Caidi is the leader of her tribe and knows she must prepare
her people for the new alpha male. She knows that Raven won’t
stop until he finds her; question is can her female tribe
accept a male ruler?
Raven
can’t explain the intense attraction he feels for the
woman he meets. After he finds out that she is his mate, he
is even angrier that she would try to run from him. For their
race, finding a mate is rare and when you do, you certainly
don’t let them get away. Determined to find Caidi and
make her submit to him, Raven will do whatever it takes to
prove to her that they are meant to be together. However,
there is an evil lurking waiting to ruin their newfound happiness.
PRIMAL
QUEST is an exciting novel with plenty of action to keep the
reader happy. Raven is sexy and dominant with an intense darkness
that will make you melt. Caidi is a great heroine and puts
the needs of her tribe first. Together this couple is dynamite
and the explosion is nuclear. Love scenes are so hot, it’s
a wonder the pages don’t catch on fire. Rebecca Airies
has done a fantastic job of creating characters that readers
are sure to remember long after the story is over. I can’t
wait to see what she comes up with for her next book.

Shadatai
Zarain warriors are among the most feared shape-shifters.
They are the last species that Caidi, alpha female of her
pack, had in mind when searching for males to father the all
female pack's children. Despite her well thought out plans,
things go horribly wrong when Caidi seduces Raven.
Raven
falls instantly in lust with the luscious blonde-haired woman.
It does not take long for him to have her and soon after,
he realizes he has searched many worlds for Caidi. She is
his mate and he will never let her go. It does not matter
how much she fights his interference in her life.
From
start to finish, Primal Quest was an exciting adventure that
warmed the heart and increased my blood pressure. The battle
for power between Caidi and Raven caused me to shake my head,
when I was not laughing. These two are used to others following
their orders without question. Art imitates life in this story.
Caidi, an alpha female pack leader, was willing to accept
the changes occurring in her world. Raven, a macho, everything
must go my way male, would not budge. Caidi just wanted a
little respect for her abilities to lead and protect her pack
mates. Raven wants her in the bed waiting for him. I wanted
their war to go on forever. The sex generated from their friction
sent sparks through my body. They would fight then make up,
and I would need a toy break. It helped that I really enjoyed
the characters and all they represented. It is a great thing
that Primal Quest has a worthy plot, interesting worlds, and
characters to go along with the hot sex. I thoroughly loved
my time with this novel. I cannot wait to see what comes next.
I have no doubt Ms. Aires has something fabulous up her sleeve.

Rebecca
Airies, Primal Quest is awesome. The plotline is well-written
and packed with some elements of suspense, a whole lot of
fantasy, some shape-shifting characters, an antagonist or
two, a few humans and love scenes that are bound to set your
sheets or your seat on fire because the words paint such visually
stimulating pictures in your head. Caidi is independent, determined
and used to taking care of her pack. Although she is the alpha
of her pack, she wants to turn control over to Raven but knows
that the Shadatai way of life is not necessarily what is right
for her pack. Thus, she faces a dilemma. Bring him back to
the pack or run. She chooses to run. Raven is a one hundred
percent red blooded alpha male. He's possessive, domineering,
determined to get his own way and willing to chase Caidi to
whatever world he has to in order to claim her. So when she
runs, he follows. What ensues is a changing of the guards,
reorganization from within and an interweaving of the two
packs as well as the development of love and trust between
the packs’ two strong-willed alphas. Having finished
the tale, I was sad to leave the Shadatai Zarain shape-shifters’
world in Ms. Airies, Primal Quest and hope she honors readers
with another story set amidst the Shadatai Zarains.

Laci
Trion is on the trail of a scientist who is wanted for crimes
against an artificially created race of beings. She doesn't
realize that when she lands on Viaga that she will find more
than a criminal. She will find the answer to the dreams that
have been plaguing her for so long. Laci is a Third Generation
Arcein "Artificially Created being" and a Hunter.
Darion
Malan and Alek Teyan are after the same scientist hoping that
she can fix the virus that is affecting their crew and others
on their planet. They also don't realize that part of their
past is about to be dropped in their laps. They have been
searching for Laci for a long time and finding her on the
planet with the mad scientist is like a dream come true. They
are also pleased to see that she is nothing like the mate
that she was cloned from, Satira. Laci struggles against her
destiny; not wanting to lose the freedom that she has worked
so hard for. However, Alek and Darion do not intend to let
her go.
Second
Chance is an amusing, sexy, fast-paced story that will have
you hoping for more of the same. Laci is a strong, intelligent
and independent woman, but there is a part of her that wants
to be dominated. Darion and Alek are the strong alpha males
that are bound to each other and their mate. There is a lot
of hot, steamy sex in this book that ranges for m/f to m/m/f.
Ms. Airies has not just written a story of sex but of what
happens when scientists are given free rein and to heck with
the cost. This is what I hope is the beginning to a great
series. She has put so much effort into the worlds and the
people that they deserve to be explored fully.

This is a tough future world where the Norik, as Alek and
Darion's people call themselves, have been experimented on
to learn the secrets of their people's long life and other
abilities. Once free, they still have enemies to deal with
and information to obtain and, therefore, the weak would not
do well here. Alek and Darion's personalities reflect these
tough surroundings. Laci is the innocent in the story. She
is genetically identical to their first mate, Satira, but
unlike Satira she is trustworthy and caring. I found it easy
to see why she would capture her men's hearts. The complexities
of this future world are slowly revealed and the reader is
held in suspense along with Laci who struggles to understand
what has happened. It makes for an interesting journey. Although
extremely forceful in their intentions, Alek and Darion are
equally determined to bring pleasure to Laci and to ultimately
make her happy. Their insatiable sexual drive will have you
reaching for someone as well! Enjoy this hot futuristic tale

Laci
Trion is a human-alien hybrid created by corrupt scientists,
and has escaped their labs. One by-product of her creation
is she must answer all questions truthfully, or suffer horrific
pain. Laci finds herself captured and being questioned by
two men named Alek and Darion. What is confusing for her is
these men have haunted her fantasies and dreams.
Alek
Teyan and Darion Malan are known to the world as human-alien
hybrids too. They are “First Generation” and disappeared
over fifty years ago from their creators. These two men have
a special bond and lead their people with arrogance and utter
confidence. In addition, they claim Laci to be their mate
and must reawaken her memories of them. This will be challenging
as Laci fights them.
Laci
awakens to find she is naked and in restraints at the feet
of Alek and Darion. To her shock, these men state she is their
mate. Nevertheless, Laci disbelieves their claim, even though
she feels an instantaneous lust for them. To garner her trust,
the men release her as promised. When Alek and Darion finally
have Laci back, they turn up the heat on her senses by sexually
stimulating Laci at ever turn. In addition, these three must
also contend with the threat of certain individuals who wish
to use them again for their evil purposes.
This
story will have you burning up with desire as Laci is served
a sexual feast. Alek and Darion bombard Laci with hot, blistering
sex. In addition, Laci watches the men she loves stroke and
excite each other in a couple of m/m scenes. There is also
adventure as she helps to free some women from captivity.

Sensuality rating: Explicit
To Laci life as a human-alien hybrid is hard. She spends all
her time hunting down her enemies. In her dreams she fantasizes
about two sexy men that she can be with without fear of hurting
them. When she awakens naked and chained at the feet of these
same men she realizes her dreams were more than just fantasies.
Somehow she knew these men, it just a matter of time before
she remembers more. She is angry at these men for taking her
prisoner but she is even angrier about how her body responds
to them. What's worse they knows how she feels because they
can smell her desire. Darion and Alek have been looking for
their mate for years but they realize she is much different
from what they remember. Can they trust her when their enemies
are out to destroy them all?
Second
Chance is about renewing a relationship. Rebecca Airies takes
the readers on an erotic adventure into the imagined future
for the purpose of bringing three characters together to remind
them of the love and emotions they once shared. It is easy
to imagine oneself in the place of Laci as she goes through
each of the emotions. You can imagine being taken from everything
you know and thrown into a situation and told how to act.
You would be angry and want to strike out at every chance.
The fact you feel desire and are attracted to your captors
would make you angry at them as well as yourself. These emotions
are expressed clearly throughout the story.
The one thing the three shares is an overpowering desire for
one another. These scenes are excitingly steamy and delightfully
naughty. They contain same sex relations, anal sex and scenes
that involve ménage a trios. The story is filled with
such hot and extremely stimulating scenes, definite fantasy
material here. The only problem I had with all this wonderful
sex is that the men used sex as a mean of manipulation. I
felt it was wrong that instead of answering her questions
and helping her deal with her feelings they would turn to
seduction and avoidance. They did not seem to care for Laci
the way they should if they really wanted to re-establish
a relationship. It would have been nice to see them take their
time and help her through this transition into a new life.
I felt she was used and should have been a lot angrier than
she was described even if she was remembering what they once
shared. Darion and Alek come across as arrogant and overbearing.
Just once would I like to see her take them on with a good
knee applied where it does the most good.
There are brief scenes of action that could have been expanded
or added to increase interest in the story for this reader.
There is a lot of information given about what the people
involved are fighting against but not a lot of fighting shown.
I wonder if this is just the first story and more is to follow
in that case this story does well in establishing a history.
But if not the history is simply used help remind Laci of
the relationship they once shared and could have again. Rebecca
Airies gives the reader an passionately intimate view into
the lives of three individuals as they begin to trust, desire
and fall in love again. Readers will enjoy this unique look
into a future filled with imagination and passion.

Dreaming
about two sexy men who want to ravage her isn't exactly a
hardship, but Laci Trion is in for the shock of her life when
she awakens, bound at their feet. Reality isn't quite as pleasant
as her fantasy-world at first, especially when her captors
accuse her of being in league with an enemy intent on destroying
them. As a genetically-engineered hybrid, half-human, half-alien
herself, Laci is after the same foe. Darion and Alek are First
Generation creations, and Laci is Third Generation. They're
similar, yet different in many ways. One thing's for sure,
though. When it comes to sexual compatibility, the three of
them come together naturally.
It doesn't take long for Laci to realize she's in over her
head, especially when Darion and Alek insist she's their long-lost
mate. She has memories of a past life, of belonging with the
two of them, but the woman she used to be is very different
from the woman she's become. She doesn't want to be that woman,
but her feelings toward these two men tell her she's meant
to be theirs. Can they find common ground, or will Darion
and Alek's possessive natures drive Laci away and ruin their
Second Chance?
In SECOND CHANCE, Ms. Aires has created a spectacular futuristic
romance. Darion and Alek are bold, courageous men who would
do anything for their mate. Any woman would love to be in
Laci's place, being admired and fawned over by two gorgeous
men. Yet her apprehension is also understandable, especially
as she discovers threads of truth about her past. Each one
of the three main characters is extremely well developed,
adding an extra level of believability to the relationship.
Individually, Laci, Darion and Alek are wonderful, but together,
they're spectacular. The chemistry between them sizzles from
the first page, and never lets up. In addition, the futuristic
world Ms. Aires has created is also remarkably structured
and beautifully detailed. The rich history and cultural detail
with which the author imbues each scene is breathtaking. For
a futuristic erotic romance you won't easily forget, look
no further than SECOND CHANCE.

Seasons of Seduction II, a part of the Ellora's Cavemen series,
is a wonderful anthology that kept me up for days, reading
the whole book almost continuously. I wish I could have called
in sick to finish without silly interruptions like sleep and
work. I enjoyed the stories separately and as an anthology,
felt the book flowed well from story to story. I could find
a connection with each chapter even though each one was an
excellent stand alone story. This is the one of the reasons
Ellora’s Cave has had such success with their anthologies.
Viking’s Pledge is a “bodice ripper” that
reminds me of why I started reading romances while Wendy’s
Summer Job is the hot and shocking contemporary that I enjoy
with amazingly hot heroes. Not a single chapter missed the
mark as each had interesting characters with a clear plotline
and wonderful sex. To me though, Taking it All by Ms. McCray
was the highlight of the book. It was clever with the right
amount of humor and a heroine I could truly identify with
even as the book went to the most extreme sexual games. For
an excellent collection of short stories readers will love

Fire
Princes' Bride Reviews
SRR
GRADE: B+
Purple hair, pointed ears, fangs and blue green skin make
the heroes in the Fire Princes’ Bride quite remarkable…and
they are extremely sexy, arrogant, playful, and gorgeous and
did I say sexy? Rebecca Airies spins a fine web of a tale
about twin Princes of the fire element and their mate from
the ice elements – and who says opposites don’t
attract? This threesome sizzles and burns their way through
this story, leaving you panting and seeking something cold
and refreshing.
Karissa is from the Ice Court, and young for their people
only 25 – but she is very powerful. Her power will cause
her to seek her mate so she doesn’t go crazy from it,
but she yearns to stay single and have some fun.
Callan and Tyral are Fire Princes and the heir to the thrown,
they have received a prophecy that they will find something
very dear to them but they must go where they don’t
expect. So when they are arbitrarily thrown through a vortex
and end up on a prison planet they realize they need to stay
put for a while. It isn’t long before Karissa practically
falls in to their laps.
Fire and Ice may not go together but don’t tell these
three, they practically combust with need every time they
touch. Ms. Airies fantasy is a very enjoyable one, and I definitely
recommend the Fire Princes’ Bride. I loved these characters,
from the playful outrageousness of the princes to the stubborn
streak a mile wide in Karissa. I enjoyed the interplay between
the elementals – in some ways it was almost like making
this threesome into six….the sarcastic interchanges
were humorous and the sex scenes were scorching. Sit and have
a visit with the Sobrin Royal Family, you’ll be happy
you did. I’ll be looking for more of Ms. Airies books
to read in the future.
~Reviewed by Lynda, From Simply
Romance Reviews
As
a powerful Elemental, Karissa Moshen knows she'll be sent
to find her mate much sooner than most women. It's not something
she's ready to do, yet being female means she has no choice.
Being an experienced Aliara from the Frejan Realm, she didn't
expect to find her mate during a mission; though she found
not one, but two, as it appeared she is destined to mate both
Fire Princes. But if Tyral and Callan expect docility, both
are in for a rude awakening.
Tyral
and Callan Forain are the Princes of the Volirian Realm who
don't bother to tell Karissa that she is their mate, figuring
they have time to let her get accustomed to them—wrong.
It seems a few people have serious intentions of making the
mating of the fire and ice realms a "not happening"
event. While trying to keep their future bride safe they discover
more of what makes Karissa tick (so they think). These two
share not only the twin-speak ability, but also the burden
of teaching her to obey their rules.
Magic,
cools ways of travelling, treachery, plots against the throne
were just a few of the treats in store when I read this book.
Add in some explicitly erotic sex, pride and strength of character,
and this becomes an exciting romp from which I got a great
deal of enjoyment. I found the serious undertones completely
believable, while the humor and wit interwoven throughout
showed the realistic emotions of "human" beings
as well as making them fully rounded individuals. This is
one to keep.

Jewels
Of The Nile II Reviews
“Ellora’s
Cavemen: Jewels of the Nile, Volume II” contains a collection
of short stories that have huge touches of fantasy and eroticism.
In “Ladies Choice” by Rebecca Aries, a woman is
stationed on an uncolonized world with two sexy Calazi men
who have chosen her to be their mate. In “From the Sea”
by Maxie Cooper, a sexy naked man, from the sea, enters into
the life of a lonely woman on a vacation. He has some answers
as to who she is.
In “Surrender Dorothy” by Anna J Evans, a young
lady has some magical encounters with a man who has been sent
to protect her. In “The Debutante” by Samantha
Kane, a debutante finds a man who can fully appreciate what
she has to offer him, and it doesn’t involve her dowry.
In “Sunrise” by Natasha Moore, a once heartbroken
woman learns to take the chance at love again. Finally, in
“After Dark” by KyAnn Waters, a magical pendant
leads a woman to a vampire who not only helps her recover
from her divorce; he teaches her about how truly special she
really is.
I enjoyed each of the stories in “Ellora’s Cavemen:
Jewels of the Nile, Volume II.” Each author used their
special talents to pull you into their stories and get caught
up in the passion. I always love a story with a touch of the
paranormal and I found this in many of the stories. All of
the sensual scenes were well written and definitely a pleasure
to read. This collection is great for someone who needs some

SURRENDER
DOROTHY by Anna J. Evans
Gelsey is fortunate to be working as a costume mistress at

the staff is forbidden. Much to her surprise Stephan is definitely
aware of her and certainly plans to make her his, but there
are complications and it looks like the Wizard of Oz may resemble
Gelsey’s reality more than she could ever believe.
Anna J. Evans makes the Wizard of Oz seem tame compared to
this tale. I love how Gelsey and Stephen appear to be perfectly
normal but then their true natures come out and there’s
no doubt that they’re perfect together.

THE DEBUTANTE by Samantha Kane
Dominic, Viscount Lethbridge, isn’t interested in any
of the lily white virginal simpering debutantes who are constantly
being thrown his way. That doesn’t stop him from taking
interest in a particular debutante who may not be a raving
beauty but she has the backbone and sensuality he finds desirable.
Clarissa doesn’t care about getting married but she
does have an interest in the experiencing carnal desires -
and Dominic is just the man to teach her all about passion
- and then some.
Samantha Kane tells intensely unexpected historical stories
and she certainly doesn’t disappoint with this tale.
I love that Clarissa isn’t your typical debutante and
there’s no doubt that she’s ready for everything
Dominic has to offer.

... ELLORA'S CAVEMEN: JEWELS OF THE NILE II is a diverse anthology
with a short story sure to please readers of all genres. Keep
in mind that this anthology is an ultimate romance, which means
there are several intimate scenes and limited space/time for
character development. The intimate scenes are explicit and
unique, with two novellas involving nontraditional relationships.
ELLORA'S CAVEMEN: JEWELS OF THE NILE II is certain to keep you
warm and reading all night.
